If you are visiting with us for the first time, we want you to feel at home. For us, church is so much more than just a Sunday service, and we want you to know that there’s a place for you at Wake Chapel. We’ve answered a few commonly asked questions below.
Who is the Senior Pastor?
Bishop J. Jasper Wilkins, II, is the Senior Pastor of Wake Chapel Church. His visionary leadership, dynamic sermons, and riveting sense of humor empower and positively impact thousands of lives on a weekly basis and he never stops smiling. What should I expect when I get to the church?
When you pull up to the church you will find ample parking. We also provide accessible parking. You may enter the church from the east, west or south entrances. As soon as you walk through the doors, you will be greeted with smiling faces. You will be given a contact card when you arrive that you will be able to fill out and hand in before you leave. After service, you will be directed to a central location where you will receive a small token of our appreciation for visiting with us. We would be so glad to see you!
When are the services?
You are invited to join us every Sunday at 7:00AM at the Wake Chapel Church North location (4509 Bland Rd.) and at 10:00AM atWake Chapel Church Central (3805 Tarheel Club Rd.). You can stream live with us every Sunday at 10:00AM. You can also listen live on Choice 92.1 FM at 10:30AM. SONday School begins at 8:30AM and Intercessory Prayer begins at 9:30AM every Sunday at our Wake Chapel Church Central location.
Join us for our Tuesday, Noon Day Bible Study at 12:00PM at our Wake Chapel Church Central location and our Tuesday, Time of Empowerment service at 7:00PM at our Wake Chapel Church North location.
What about the children?
Your children can attend Students Walking After God (S.W.A.G.) Church on Sundays at 10:00AM in the Life Enrichment Center. Ages 6 months-18 years of age are welcome. There is something for all ages. S.W.A.G. Church is open every 1st, 3rd and 4th Sundays (unless otherwise announced). On 2nd Sundays, families are encouraged to sit together in the main sanctuary for “Family Gathered Sunday.”
All parents or guardians desiring for their child to attend S.W.A.G. Church must have their child checked in no later than 10:00AM each Sunday.
How can I join?
There are several ways to join Wake Chapel Church. We extend the opportunity for you to join at each of our services. You can also join by by contacting our administrative offices. Our doors are always open.
