Provide Administrative support for the New Disciple intake process, baby dedications, on site weddings and baptismal services. Assist with registration and monetary collections for all church activities when required. Prepare beverages for guest ministers on Sunday and other weekly services.

Wake Chapel Church Gatekeepers are twofold: 1) Offers hospitable service wherever needed; assists leadership and other duties as assigned; shows brotherly love to one another, fervent in spirit, and allowing God’s goodness to show to all who enter to worship and 2) the first face worshippers encounter when they enter the Sanctuary. Our mission is to greet each worshipper with a pleasant smile and warm welcome thereby bringing comfort, compassion, and the spirit of God’s blessings to all who enter our church doors. Our mission strives to serve together in a manner that is pleasing to God. We will maintain order within the sanctuary and a flexible and welcoming spirit while being attentive to the needs of the congregation. The vision of this ministry is to continue to grow spiritually and increase the ministry with new member; to continue to move forward with the vision that God has set for us; to actively support Wake Chapel Church and the community through service and commitment, and to promote unity, spiritual knowledge and stewardship.

Maintains a safe environment and provides immediate care and/or assistance to disciples and visitors involved in any sudden illness or life-threatening situation until emergency personnel services can be obtained. The healthcare advocacy department provides health information to the church and community in an effort to raise health consciousness and improve health behaviors.
HIV/Aids Support support@wakechapel.org
Karen Lassiter
The WCC Advanced HIV Support Team is a collaborative effort with Alliance of AIDS Services-Carolina (AASC) Faith Ministries Program. The volunteer team is paired with a partner in the community that has been diagnosed with Advanced HIV (AIDS). Each volunteer is trained and enter into a one year contract to contact the partner at least twice a month. The team provides confidential support services and encouragement as the partner journey through their illness.
Heritage Family & Friends
Provides reflection on the history of the church, promotes appreciation of the church and inspires celebration for its growth and prosperity.
Legal and Political Action Ministry

Increases political awareness among disciples of WCC and educates them and the general public to participate in the electoral process; provides information on a variety of subjects as well as facilitates self-enrichment seminars.

The appointed role of PFFS frees the Senior Pastor for those things which are of primary importance to the welfare of his family and plans the appreciation services and special events for the Bishop and First Family.

Joe Daniel
Designed to meet the needs of all senior women and men in the church and surrounding community; provides an opportunity to fellowship and participate in activities they find mutually edifying and enjoyable.
